The initial step in St. Joe/Arvida SummerCamp development process takes place tonight, when the land use change for the development is presented for approval to the Franklin County Planning & Zoning Commission.
APTA will be presenting the attached letter to the commission, requesting that they deny the land use change request until such time as St Joe/Arvida includes language in the request which specifically prohibits a marina and/or associated facilities on the development properties.
The Commission meeting starts at 6:30 p.m., tonight, second floor, Franklin County Courthouse in Apalachicola.
Those of you who can attend are encouraged to do so.
