Paul Johnson of APECO advised me today that next Tuesday the Governor and cabinet will formalize a tentative agreement reached between St Joe and the State on the sale of an additional 8,500 acres of St Joe property to the State for an expansion of Bald Point State Park. The area involved is between the current boundary of the park and US 98. The land sale also involves some property on the South side (Alligator Harbor side) of County Road 370. I understand the sale price is $10M. I also understand that St Joe will keep at least two strips of property bordering US 98. I don't have the specifics on which sections along US 98 St Joe will keep.
